Full catering services will be provided on site. Please note there is no drinking water on site.
Series Rules
The series consists of three events. Points will be awarded for each event from 20 for first place to 1 point for 20th. Prizes will be given to podium places at all events and a Best Man and Best Woman prize awarded to the best placed rider across all three events.
British Cycling rules apply to all races and will be administered by the Chief Commissaire.

- We will consider applications to race the DH event from the parents of riders who turn 15 this year, and who raced the Mini DH series in 2010. Email helen@innerleithenmtbracing.com before making an entry.
Registration/Entry
Every rider has to use the registration form at Si Entries. Entry by 17.00 on the Thursday before race day will attract a £10 discount for the Enduro and DH races and a £5 discount for the Mountain Time Trial. Day entries will be full price.
Pre-entry will close at 17.00 on the Thursday, day entries may be available.
Racers under age of 18 must be signed on by their Parent, or other legal guardian.
If the registered starter cannot attend the race, they have no right to reclaim the registration fee.
Cancellation policy – adverse conditions
Dealing with adverse weather is part of the challenge of this series, however if the safety of riders and staff becomes an issue we may have to cancel an event. This will be announced on our website at 17.00 on the Thursday before the event, and riders will receive a refund minus an admin fee.
If a race is cancelled due to adverse or dangerous conditions any time after 17.00 on the Friday before the event we will refund a percentage of the entry fee taking in account any outlaid costs.
Number boards
Every rider gets a new number board at every race. Number plates must be fixed in front of the handlebar and should be readable throughout the competition.
The race is open to all professionals and hobby riders, no licence is required.
Technical condition of bikes
Every rider is responsible for the bike, the material and the protection equipment. The condition, quality and construction are to ensure the safety for riders, competitors or other persons.
Prize giving ceremony and presentations
The first three riders will be honoured with a ceremony, 60 mins after the race finishes.
Responsibilities
Riders attend the race on their own account and at their own risk. The rider is responsible for the safety of his bike and clothes. The organization is not responsible and cannot be held responsible for any injuries and damages as results of any action during the whole racing weekend.
This agreement starts with the entry. The organisation reserves the right to make any necessary changes or even to cancel the whole race according to safety problems at any time in the race, official orders, government laws and other unforeseen events.
Protest
Protests against the result or disqualifications should be addressed to the Commisaire.
Waiver of liability
Every rider understands and admits that his participation in the race is voluntary. He assumes full responsibility for any injuries or damages from his participation in the race. He recognises and understands that the activities may be hazardous, that his participation is solely at his own risk and that he assumes full responsibility for any resulting injuries and damages that may occur.
Every rider affirms, that he is in good health. He declares that he is physically fit and capable to participate in the race.
Every rider has to acknowledge that he has read and understand this entire waiver of liability and agrees to be legally bound by it.
Withdrawal
The racing officials hold the right to withdraw starters if they feel there is a danger for the starter or any other person.
In addition to this agreement the organization refers to the safety rules and racing agreement defined by British Cycling and the UCI.
Data Protection Act 1998
By submitting an application to take part in a race the participants also allow the event organisers to use personal data for campaigns and activities connected to the events. The organisers shall have unlimited rights to publish pictures of the participants; to forward these photos to press representatives and to use them for marketing activities.
Directions
Innerleithen lies on the A72 between Peebles and Galashiels in the Scottish Borders, around 45km south of Edinburgh. The event arena is 1km south of Innerleithen on the B709 Traquair Road.
How to get here:
From Carlisle
Take the A74(M) to junction 15 (Beattock) and turn onto the A701. Continue on the A701 the road through Moffat. About 11km past Tweedsmuir, turn right onto B712 (signposted for Stobo). After around 12km the road meets the A72. Turn right and head for Peebles. Once through Peebles town centre, continue on the A72. Go past Glentress (on your left) and on to Innerleithen. Shortly after entering the village, look for the turn off to the B709 on your right (Traquair road). Follow the B709 for about 1km, then turn left into the carpark after the bridge.
From Newcastle
Follow the A696 and then the A68 through Jedburgh. Just past Newton St Boswells, turn left onto the A6091 through Melrose. The road becomes the A72 just by Galashiels. Follow the A72 to Innerleithen. Go through the centre and look for the turning for the B709 (Traquair Road) on your left towards the end of the village. Follow the B709 for about 1km, then turn left into the carpark after the bridge.
From Edinburgh
Join the A703 to Peebles just south of the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720). Note that the road becomes the A701 between Penicuik and Leadburn, but reverts to being the A703 from Leadburn to Peebles. At Peebles, take a left at the roundabout where the A703 meets the A72. Glentress is signposted, with the 7stanes trails signposted a little further on. Follow the road for around 9km. Arriving in Innerleithen, turn right onto the B709 (Traquair Road). After about 1km, you will see the event area.
